Features of the Ford/International 7.3L
The Ford 6.4L was designed to take the place of the 7.3L IDI. The 7.3L is a turbocharged, direct injection diesel engine produced by International Navistar. This engine is trademarked to Ford Motor Company and you will only find this in Ford applications. This is one of the most popular engines in pick up trucks.
